A sword is a long edged weapon, used in many forms by various civilizations throughout the world. The word sword comes from the Old English sweord, which cognates to Old High German Schwert, literally "wounding tool" from a Proto-Indo-European root *swer- "to wound, to hurt".
Two fierce dragons guarding a pentacle - the symbol for protection - grace the hilt of this magical sword and aid in defending one against danger. Combined with the protective rune "Eihwaz" etched into the blade, this amulet evokes a shield of safety through which none may penetrate.
