A sword is a long edged weapon, used in many forms by various civilizations throughout the world. The word sword comes from the Old English sweord, which cognates to Old High German Schwert, literally "wounding tool" from a Proto-Indo-European root *swer- "to wound, to hurt".
The East Indian Kris Sword has a wavy double-edged blade with a Dragon head on each side of the hilt. It is used two-handed in battle.
